RASIC's
39.3 million dollar Perris Valley north reach pipleline in Riverside.
The Project is 2.5 miles long and has one heck of a fleet of iron on
site to get the job done. Just a small list of the heavy equipment
being used consists of;
a Hitachi
EX1200 excavator, a Komatsu PC1250-8
excavator, a
Komastu PC1000 excavator, (2)
CAT 385C L excavators, a CAT 365C L excavator, a Hitachi EX800
excavator, a Hitachi EX750 excavator, a CAT 980H loader, a CAT 972H
loader, and many many others! Check out my full article on the project
as well as all my
hundreds and hundreds of pics I've taken throughout the pipelines
progession.

Today
I added a bunch of pics I
just finished taking from my weekend in
Arizona and visting the 259 mile Transwestern gas pipeline project.
This is one
huge big long pipeline, the pipe goes over mountains down steep
hillsides and
through hard desert rock. When you look down the pipe itself it
just disappears into the horizon.
I
took a bunch of pics of some of the machines being used such as one
of the huge bucket wheel trenchers, some of
the pipelayers, welding machines, and a few shots of one the
countless 345C L excavators being used (couln't even tell you how many
I saw there was so many)
